Today (May 8) is the start of the district's Open Enrollment period. Members have until May 31st to make any changes to your health insurance and benefits. Keep in mind that your insurance benefits make up an essential part of your compensation package. Review your benefits and make sure that you are still making the correct choices for your family.
Changes that need to be made outside of this window must be for qualified reasons (birth of new dependent, death of family member, marriage, adoption, changes in spouse's health care plans, etc...) so please do your best to make sure that you are enrolled in the best plan for next year.

They have done a great job at renewing and re-organizing the information to be more understandable. There are even benefit tutorial videos to help explain the differences between some of the plans.
